Richard Hewson

Richard Anthony Hewson’s career as an arranger began in the late 1960s, he went on to work with the most incredible selection of songs and artists including the Beatles ("I Me Mine" and "The Long and Winding Road"), the Bee Gees (Melody), James Taylor ("Carolina in My Mind"), Herbie Hancock, Clifford T. Ward, Supertramp, Pilot (Pilot), Diana Ross, Carly Simon, Art Garfunkel, Leo Sayer, Paul McCartney, Mary Hopkin ("Those Were The Days"), Diana Ross, Supertramp, Al Stewart, Chris de Burgh, Fleetwood Mac and Chris Rea.

He recorded and released through his RAH Band project and produced in the 1980s for amongst others Toyah Willcox, Five Star, Cliff Richard and Shakin' Stevens.

Richard’s work appears across a number of classic archive Standard albums.
