Alan Parker

Alan’s career begun as a session guitarist in the late 1960's, working with Cat Stevens, Frank Sinatra, Joe Cocker, Donovan, David Bowie, Sonny & Cher, Ella Fitzgerald, and The Walker Brothers.

His highly extensive and distinguished media work includes for television; Angels, Minder, One Summer, The Glory Boys, Dempsey and Makepeace, French Fields, Room at the Bottom, Red Fox, ITN's News At Ten, the BBC series Walking with Cavemen and Coast, and appearing in the famous Monty Python Cheese Shop sketch! His film scores include Jaws 3-D (1983), American Gothic (1988), What's Eating Gilbert Grape (1993) and Alex Rider: Stormbreaker (2006).

Few can match Alan’s contribution to Production Music including being a founder of the Themes International label where you can find classic soul collections from Alan and Madeleine Bell.He has a number of renowned library albums and cuts across a range of labels including Standard.
