Piano & Rhodes + 2 – Elan Mehler

With the simplest of elements (piano, Fender Rhodes, double-bass and tenor sax) New York’s Elan Mehler has composed a beautifully-phrased album of romance and contemplation, music informed by both jazz and classical music. With albums already released on Gilles Peterson’s Brownswood label, Mehler now brings his individual style to Standard.
